Founded in 1827, Pembroke College Boat Club is the rowing club of Pembroke College, Cambridge.
At PCBC we pride ourselves in being both competitive and welcoming at all levels of the sport. Crews benefit from an extensive fleet of boats and tailored training plans with exceptional coaching.
In recent years, the club has gone from strength to strength. Our senior crews have had bumps success across the divisions, with blades for W1 and M3 in the 2019 Mays campaign.
Alongside various races on the Cam, PCBC members have the opportunity to race at local regattas and national events such as Henley. Recent training camps have taken place on the Tideway and in Budapest.
The club has a friendly atmosphere with regular swaps and socials to promote welfare, as well as formal events and termly Boat Club Dinners to celebrate our success.
Each year we welcome a large number of novice rowers and coxes with no prior experience. As a novice you will quickly develop skills and fitness and will have the opportunity to represent the club in novice competitions, all whilst enjoying one of the most popular sports in Cambridge.
