PCBC at the Boat Race 2025

This year Pembroke has been delighted to have four athletes training with the university squad, three of whom who have been announced this week to be racing in the Boat Races.

As always, PCBC will have a contingent watching from the bank, if you'd like to join us please get in touch.

We wish them all the best of luck and will be cheering them on, whether that be from the banks at Hammersmith or watching online from around the globe!

Success at Newnham Head!

PCBC took Newnham Head by storm this weekend with W1 and W2 both winning their categories.

Our M1 set the 5th fastest time of the day and W1 were the fastest women's crew of the day by an almost 20 second margin!

With this being our last organised race before Lent Bumps,

we're looking to double down into our training and keep the upwards momentum.

Quintin Head

This weekend saw both 1st VIIIs travel down to London to compete in Quintin Head.

Both crews performed well, with W1 and M1 placing 2nd and 3rd in their respective categories, including several overtakes for W1!

The race was a fantastic way to kick off the first week of Lent term.
