Pembroke Regatta is a fun head-to-head race which is a perfect dress rehearsal for bumps with a good measure of how you perform under pressure and compare to other boat clubs near you in the bumps start order.

Event Details

  • Date: Saturday 21st February 2026

  • Course Length: Approximately 1000m, from the Stump at the bottom of Long Reach to the Beer Tree.

  • Eligibility: Open to College Student VIIIs and College Alumni VIIIs

  • Categories: Provisionally, there will be 5 Open category divisions and 5 Women's category divisions. Racing divisions will be limited to 8, with allocation based on the Lent Bumps order.  There will also be an Alumni/Invitational divisions for each category.

  • The entry fee is £90 per crew.

Schedule

  • Entry Deadline: Saturday 14th of February 2026 at 23:00

  • Draw Publication: Wednesday 18th of February 2025 (the draw can now be found here and has been sent out in an email).

  • Race Day Start: Crew number collection runs from 6:40am - 12:00pm on 21st of February at Pembroke College Boathouse.

  • Prize Presentation: 12:00 PM on Sunday 22nd February at Pembroke College Boathouse.

  • Race Day: The first race will be at 8:00am with races every 30 mins until the last race at 4:30pm. There will be a break in racing at 12:00pm for lunch.

Take the time to read the instructions before you enter your crews to understand the safety requirements needed to race as well as the updated refund policy if weather conditions are unfortunate.

The draw will be published here on Wednesday 18th February 2026.


The results will be published here on the day of the Regatta.
